Class 4 MOT
Class 4 is the MOT class for most passenger cars, small vans and motor caravans up to 3,000kg design gross weight.
Class 4 is the volume MOT product for a UK independent — most of the retail book. Typical test duration is 45–60 minutes on a modern car.
Slot capacity should be planned in bay-hours, not just slots, because Class 4 durations vary with vehicle age and complexity.
