Partner Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 · Last updated May 2026
These Partner Terms & Conditions ("Partner Terms") apply to any garage, MOT centre, mobile mechanic or automotive business ("Partner", "you") that registers and uses a GarageOS Partner account. They form part of the wider Terms & Conditions and must be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Platform Licence
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access the Platform solely for managing your own garage bookings, customers, calendar and related operations.
2. Partner Account Rules
- One Partner account corresponds to one operating garage or mobile mechanic business.
- You must provide accurate registration details (legal business name, address, VAT status, contact information).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You must not share access with any third party or allow another business to operate under your account.
3. Responsibility for Services
You are solely responsible for the automotive services you offer through the Platform, including their quality, fitness for purpose, safety, compliance with MOT and other regulatory requirements, and any guarantees you provide. GarageOS is a technology provider only and does not perform, inspect or warrant any service you carry out.
4. Pricing Responsibility
You set and publish your own service prices, labour rates, VAT treatment and parts pricing options. You must ensure that all displayed prices are accurate, lawful, and inclusive of VAT where applicable. We do not set or recommend prices.
5. Customer Communication
You are responsible for communicating with your Customers — confirming bookings, requesting additional information, advising on parts, and providing after-sales support. Communications must be lawful, accurate, respectful and not misleading.
6. Booking Management
You must respond to online bookings within a reasonable time, honour confirmed appointments, and update booking status (accepted, completed, no-show) in your dashboard. Persistent failure to manage bookings may result in suspension.
7. Cancellations & No-Shows
You may publish your own no-show, cancellation and deposit policy in your dashboard. Such policies must be lawful, transparent, and clearly accepted by the Customer at the time of booking. Disputes between Partner and Customer are between those parties; GarageOS is not party to such disputes.
8. Intellectual Property Protection
The Platform — including its software, source code, user interface, design, workflows, branding, layout, database structure and documentation — is the protected intellectual property of GarageOS. You agree NOT to:
- copy, reproduce, scrape or republish any part of the Platform;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Platform or attempt to derive its source code;
- resell, sublicense or otherwise commercialise access to the Platform;
- share login credentials with any third party;
- create a competing product or service based on or derived from the Platform;
- use the Platform branding or designs in your own materials without written permission.
Breach of this clause is a material breach and may result in immediate termination and legal action.
9. Data Protection Responsibilities
You are the data controller for the personal data of your Customers. You must:
- comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018;
- provide your Customers with a lawful basis for processing and appropriate privacy information;
- respond to data subject requests for your Customers;
- only collect data that is necessary for the booking.
GarageOS acts as your processor for Customer data and processes it only on your documented instructions in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Payment Terms
Subscription fees (if any) are payable monthly in advance. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your Partner account. Future Platform features may enable Customer-side payments and deposits — separate payment terms will apply when those features are activated.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your Partner account immediately if you breach these Partner Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law, or if your account is used in a way that risks the security or reputation of the Platform. You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard; data export options are available on request.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law GarageOS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or loss of data arising from use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in that period. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Governing Law
These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
