Workshop bay
A bay is a discrete work area (lift, ramp or floor space) that can hold a single vehicle at a time.
Bays, not staff, are usually the binding constraint in an independent workshop. A 3-bay workshop with 4 mechanics still can't do 4 jobs at once.
