Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GarageOS platform (the "Platform"), provided by GarageOS ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Definitions

"Partner" means a garage, MOT centre, mobile mechanic, or other automotive business that registers an account on the Platform. "Customer" means an end user who books a service through a Partner's booking page. "Content" means any data, text, images, logos or other material submitted to the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

You may use the Platform only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of any business you register.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. Intellectual Property

The Platform — including all software, source code, design, user interface, workflows, branding and documentation — is the intellectual property of GarageOS and is protected by UK and international copyright, database, trademark and trade-secret laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, resell, sublicense, share access to, or create derivative works based on the Platform.

5. Customer & Partner Responsibilities

Partners are solely responsible for the services they offer, the pricing they display, the work they perform, and their direct communications with Customers. GarageOS is a software platform — we do not perform automotive services and are not party to any contract between a Customer and a Partner.

6. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Partners act as data controllers for their Customer data and are responsible for complying with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

7. Fees

Subscription fees, if any, are payable in advance. Free trials may convert to paid plans at the end of the trial period unless cancelled. All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GarageOS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of goodwill or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
