Customer Booking Terms
Version 1.0 · Last updated May 2026
These Customer Booking Terms apply when you book an automotive service through a Partner garage using the GarageOS platform. By submitting a booking you confirm you have read and accept these terms.
1. Booking is with the Garage
Your booking is a contract between you and the selected garage ("the Garage"). GarageOS provides the booking technology only and is not party to that contract.
2. Garage Responsibility
The Garage is solely responsible for the service it provides, including the quality of workmanship, parts used, warranties offered, MOT outcomes and any guidance given. Complaints about the service must be raised with the Garage directly.
3. Accurate Details
You agree to provide accurate vehicle details (registration, make, model), contact details (name, phone, email), and a truthful description of the problem. Incorrect information may result in the Garage being unable to carry out the work, or in additional charges.
4. Parts Charged Separately
Where a service requires parts, the parts may be charged separately and in addition to any labour quote. The Garage will confirm parts prices before fitting where reasonably practicable.
5. Cancellation & No-Show
The Garage may publish its own cancellation, deposit and no-show policy. You accept that policy when you confirm the booking. If you cannot attend, please give the Garage as much notice as possible.
6. Deposits & Pre-Authorisation
The Garage may require a booking deposit or card pre-authorisation to secure your slot. Where this feature is enabled, the amount and refund rules will be displayed before you confirm.
7. Garage Contact
The Garage may contact you by phone, SMS or email to confirm details, ask follow-up questions, or update you on the job. By providing your details you consent to such operational communications.
8. Your Data
The Garage is the data controller for the booking information you submit. The GarageOS Privacy Policy explains how the platform processes your data on the Garage's behalf.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
