How to take a deposit online in GarageOS
Deposits work best where risk is highest — Saturdays, holidays, new customers.
Step 1 — Enable deposits per service
Settings → Services → set a deposit amount (typically £10–£20).
Step 2 — Configure Stripe
Settings → Payments → connect Stripe (free).
Step 3 — Test end-to-end
Book a test slot; confirm the deposit lands in your Stripe balance.
